Cane Sugar Organic Golden Light 250g

Description

Cane sugar is an organic, healthier substitute for white sugar. It has a very pleasant taste that is somewhat reminiscent of caramel. This organic sugar is obtained by pressing the stalks of organically grown sugar cane, whereby the obtained juice is concentrated and crystallized and concentrated into a syrup. Sugar crystals are then added to encourage crystallization and part of the molasses (but not all) is separated. It belongs to single-crystallized sugars, unlike white sugar, which crystallizes twice. Organic sugar crystals are golden in color, usually slightly larger than white sugar crystals, and have a mild, floral or fruity aroma and taste. In addition to sucrose, it also contains a certain amount of minerals.

Since it is obtained from organically grown sugar cane, it means that it does not contain any synthetic herbicides or pesticides.

Recipe

Apple Chutney (Delicious Sweet and Spicy Sauce) - Apple Chutney
Needed: 12 apples, 1 red pepper, 1 onion, 2 hot peppers, 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger, 2 teaspoons chopped garlic, 300ml apple cider vinegar, 300g organic cane sugar, ½ teaspoons cardamom powder, mle milk porridge nutmeg, ¼ teaspoons ground cloves.

Preparation

Peel an apple, grate it and chop finely. Finely chop the peppers, onions and hot peppers.

Pour all the ingredients into the pan. Heat until boiling, reduce the temperature and cover. Simmer for 1 hour, stirring often, until the apples are soft and the chutney thickens. If necessary, occasionally add a little water to keep the ingredients moist. Wait for the chutney to cool, then sleep in a jar and let it stand in the fridge for a while before serving.

It goes well with most savory dishes, and can be consumed on its own, as a dessert.
